Everyone's Sky through South American Eyes

GalileoMobile is a traveling science education project that brings astronomy closer to young people across South America (and further continents in future). By organizing astronomy-related activities in schools and villages, we aim at fostering a will of learning through the exciting wonders of our Universe.

During the international year of astronomy 2009, we realized a two-month trip in the Andean Altiplano that was captured in a documentary movie for a worldwide audience. We want this movie to be a messenger of human interaction "under a same sky", while showing the richness of the andean cultures and cosmovisions.

Our handbook of activities is now available (download here) and our documentary will be released soon. Keep up with project news and advances by following our blog updated biweekly. If you want to get involved in the ongoing activities of Galileo Mobile, please contact us.
